TELEMATICS SYSTEM REGISTRATION

PROCEDURE

1. REGISTER VEHICLE INFORMATION

   Tech Tips

   If the telematics transceiver has been replaced, it is necessary to perform the Register Vehicle Information procedure.

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Telematics / Utility / Vin Synchronization

      
      Body Electrical > Telematics > Utility

      Tester Display
      VIN Synchronization

   5. According to the display on the GTS, perform VIN Synchronization to register the VIN to the telematics transceiver.

   6. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Telematics / Utility / ID Information Display

   7. According to the display on the GTS, read the IMEI, ICCID and VIN.

   8. Contact the registration center and register the IMEI, ICCID and VIN.

2. RESET MOBILEPHONE BATTERY CONDITION

   Tech Tips

   If the mobilephone battery has been replaced, it is necessary to perform the Reset Mobile Phone Battery Condition procedure.

   
   

   1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

   2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

   3. Turn the GTS on.

   4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Telematics / Utility / Backup Battery Reset

      
      Body Electrical > Telematics > Utility

      Tester Display
      Backup Battery Replacement Reset

   5. According to the display on the GTS, perform Backup Battery Replacement Reset to reset the mobilephone battery replacement flag.
