DESCRIPTION

Power is supplied to the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly illumination from the radio receiver assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY ILLUMINATION POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the K117 and K68 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connectors.

      Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K117-1 (USV1) - Body ground Power switch on (ACC) 5 V
      K68-12 (ACC) - Body ground Power switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - NO. 1 STEREO JACK ADAPTER ASSEMBLY)


    1. Disconnect the K132 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the K117 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the K60 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the K68 No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K60-11 (ACC) - K68-12 (ACC) Always Below 1 Ω
      K60-11 (ACC) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
