DESCRIPTION

The radio receiver assembly and map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) are connected to each other using the microphone connection detection signal lines.

This DTC is stored when a microphone connection detection signal line is disconnected.

  1. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY

    1. Disconnect the K158 telematics transceiver connector.

    2. Disconnect the S4 map light assembly (telephone microphone assembly) connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K158-35 (MCI-) - S4-2 (MCO-) Always Below 1 Ω
      K158-35 (MCI-) or S4-2 (MCO-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Disconnect the K58 radio receiver assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the K158 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  9. REPLACE TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY


    1. Replace the telephone microphone assembly.

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.
