RADIO ANTENNA CORD REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

1. PRECAUTION

   Note

   After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notice before proceeding with work.

2. REMOVE BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

4. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY WITH BRACKET

6. REMOVE NO. 1 CONSOLE BOX DUCT

   Click here

7. REMOVE ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. 

      Disconnect each connector.

   2. Disengage each clamp and remove the antenna cord sub-assembly.

8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH (for Manual Seat)

21. REMOVE NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

    
    

    1. 

       Remove the clip.

    2. Disengage the clamp and remove the floor carpet hook.

    3. Turn back the floor carpet so that the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly can be removed.

    4. for LHD:

       
       

       1. Disconnect each connector.

          

       2. Remove the 2 bolts.

       3. Disengage each clamp and remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

    5. for RHD:

       
       

       1. Disconnect each connector.

          

       2. Remove the 2 bolts.

       3. Disengage each clamp and remove the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

22. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

    1. 

       Disconnect each connector.

    2. Disengage each clamp and remove the No. 5 antenna cord sub-assembly.
