DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when items controlled by the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) cannot be customized via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen.

Tech Tips

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) controls the front power seat control system (w/ Memory) related items that are customizable via the multi-display assembly screen.

    1. Use the GTS to check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

  2. CHECK FRONT POWER SEAT CONTROL SYSTEM (w/ Memory)


    1. Check if the front power seat control system (w/ Memory) is malfunctioning.

      Customization may not be possible depending on the malfunction in the front power seat control system (w/ Memory).

  3. CHECK CUSTOMIZE ITEMS


    1. Display the "Vehicle Customization" screen.

    2. Make a note of the customizable items for each main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).

      The items shown as customizable via the audio and visual system vehicle customization screen can also be changed using the GTS. In the following step, the GTS will be used.


      1. To match-up the items on the multi-display assembly with the items on the GTS, check the customize parameters list for the front power seat control system (w/ Memory) related items that can be customized via the multi-display assembly screen.

    3. Using the GTS, confirm that it is possible to change the settings of the customize parameters that are available for customization via the multi-display assembly screen.
