PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FUEL LID LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Fuel Lid Lock with Motor Assembly)
      *b Shaft Stroke
      *c Unlock
      *d Lock

      Check the operation of the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid lock with motor assembly connector, and check that the fuel lid lock with motor assembly operates smoothly as follows.

        OK
        Connection Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 1

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 2

        		 Unlock

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 2

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 1

        		 Lock

        If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid lock with motor assembly.

      2. Measure the shaft stroke.
