PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT LUGGAGE DOOR OPENING SWITCH ASSEMBLY

      Component without harness connected

      (Luggage Door Opening Switch Assembly)

      Check the resistance.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        4 (B) - 1 (L) Switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher
        Switch pushed Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage door opening switch assembly.

    2. Inspect the illumination.


      1. Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the luggage door opening switch assembly connector, and check that the luggage door opening switch assembly LED illuminates.

        OK
        Connection Specified Condition

        Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (ILL+)

        Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (ILL-)

        		 LED illuminates

        If the result is not as specified, replace the luggage door opening switch assembly.
