  1. REMOVE PROPELLER SHAFT WITH CENTER BEARING ASSEMBLY

  8. REMOVE FLOOR CARPET HOOK

      Disengage the 2 clamps and disconnect the wire harness.

    2. A0021IX

      Disengage the 2 clamps to remove the 2 floor carpet hooks.

  9. REMOVE REAR NO. 4 AIR DUCT

  12. REMOVE NO. 2 DASH PANEL INSULATOR PAD

      Disengage the 2 clips to remove the No. 2 dash panel insulator pad.

  13. REMOVE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY

  14. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR REAR UPPER SUB PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disengage the 6 clamps from the front upper floor rear sub panel sub-assembly.

    2. A0020PI

      Disengage the 2 guides from the front floor mat.

    3. Remove the 4 bolts.

      Disengage the clamp, and remove the front upper floor rear sub panel sub-assembly.

  15. LOOSEN NO. 1 WIRE ADJUSTING NUT


    1. Completely release the parking brake pedal.

      *1 No. 1 Wire Adjusting Nut
      *2 Lock Nut

      Loosen the lock nut and the No. 1 wire adjusting nut to completely release the parking brake cable.

  16. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE RETURN WITH DAMPER SPRING

      Using needle-nose pliers, remove the parking brake return with damper spring.

  17. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE EQUALIZER

      *1 No. 2 Parking Brake Cable Assembly
      *2 No. 3 Parking Brake Cable Assembly

      Remove the 2 nuts and separate the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly and No. 3 parking brake cable assembly from the parking brake equalizer.

      Slide the rubber boot as shown in the illustration.

      Remove the parking brake equalizer as shown in the illustration.

  18. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE CONTROL PEDAL ASSEMBLY


    1. A0022V8

      Remove the 2 nuts, and separate the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly from the body.

    2. A0022W9

      Remove the 2 bolts, and separate the No. 1 parking brake cable assembly from the body.

    3. A0022RU

      Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.

    4. A0022RS

      Remove the bolt, 2 nuts and parking brake control pedal assembly from the body.
