DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the skid control ECU assembly receives a sensor supply voltage malfunction signal from the yaw rate and acceleration sensor.

Note


  • When replacing the yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform initialization and calibration of the linear solenoid valve.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (IG TERMINAL)

      Front view of wire harness connector

      (to Yaw Rate and Acceleration Sensor)

      Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.

    2. Disconnect the K85 yaw rate and acceleration sensor connector.

    3. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K85-4 (IG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (GND TERMINAL)

      Turn the power switch off.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K85-1 (GND) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

  3. RECONFIRM DTC


    1. Reconnect the K85 yaw rate and acceleration sensor connector.

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRC > Clear DTCs
    3. Turn the power switch on (READY).

    4. Perform a road test.

    5. Check if the same DTC is output.
