DESCRIPTION

When the tire pressure monitor initiator driver detects a malfunction in the drive circuit, it notifies the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver of the malfunction, and the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver stores DTC C2153/53.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Chassis > Tire Pressure Monitor > Clear DTCs

    2. Turn the power switch off.

    3. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 8 km/h (5 mph) or more for 30 seconds or more.

    4. Check if the same DTC is output.
