REAR STABILIZER BAR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BUSHING

      *b Stopper
      B003XUN Front of the Vehicle

      Install the 2 rear stabilizer bushings to the outside of the stoppers on the rear stabilizer bar.

      Note

      Be sure to install the rear stabilizer bushings so that each cutout faces the front of the vehicle.

  2. INSTALL REAR NO. 1 STABILIZER BAR BRACKET

      Install the 2 rear No. 1 stabilizer bar brackets to the 2 rear stabilizer bushings.

      Note

      Be sure to install the rear No. 1 stabilizer bar brackets so that each arrow mark faces the front of the vehicle.

  3. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER BAR

      *a Identification Mark

      Install the rear stabilizer bar, 2 rear No. 1 stabilizer bar brackets and 2 rear stabilizer bushings to the rear suspension member sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

      Torque:
      51 N*m  { 520 kgf*cm, 38 ft.*lbf }

      Note


      • Temporarily tighten the bolt (A), and then fully tighten the 4 bolts in the order of B, C, D, and A.

      • Ensure that the identification mark is on the right side of the vehicle.

  4. INSTALL REAR SUSPENSION MEMBER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  5. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY LH

      *a Identification Mark

      Install the rear stabilizer link assembly LH with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      Nut A
      89 N*m  { 908 kgf*cm, 66 ft.*lbf }
      Nut B
      70 N*m  { 714 kgf*cm, 52 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Ensure that the identification mark is on the upper side of the vehicle.

      Tech Tips

      If the ball joint turns together with the nut, use a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench to hold the stud bolt.

  6. INSTALL REAR STABILIZER LINK ASSEMBLY RH

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  7. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

    Torque:
    103 N*m  { 1050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf }
