REAR ACCELERATION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL ACCELERATION SENSOR ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. Install the acceleration sensor assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:

      8.4 N*m  { 86 kgf*cm, 74 in.*lbf }

      Note

      
      

      • Avoid any impact to the acceleration sensor assembly.

      • Do not drop the acceleration sensor assembly. If it is dropped, replace it with a new one.

   2. Connect the connector.

   3. Return the luggage compartment trim cover RH to its original position.

4. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (for Fixed Seat Type)

5. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (for Fold Down Seat Type)

6. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM BOX

7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT

8. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

   Note

   When disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
