ENGINE OIL COOLER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. DRAIN ENGINE OIL

  2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  3. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER LH

    Click here

  4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)

    Click here

  5. REMOVE FRONT SUSPENSION MEMBER BRACE

    Click here

  6. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER (w/ No. 2 Engine Under Cover)

    Click here

  7. REMOVE POWER STEERING LINK ASSEMBLY (for LHD)

    Click here

  8. DISCONNECT WIRE HARNESS (for RHD)

      Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps.

    2. Remove the bolt to disconnect the ground wire from the bracket.

  9. DISCONNECT NO. 5 INVERTER COOLING HOSE (for RHD)


    1. A01MRZN

      Disconnect the No. 5 inverter cooling hose clamp from the No. 1 front stabilizer bracket LH.

  10. REMOVE NO. 2 INVERTER COOLING HOSE (for LHD)


    1. Drain coolant (for Inverter).

      Click here

    2. Loosen the 2 hose clamps and remove the No. 2 inverter cooling hose.

  11. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY

      *1 No. 7 Water By-pass Hose
      *2 No. 8 Water By-pass Hose

      Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 7 water by-pass hose from the oil cooler assembly.

      Note

      Spray lubricant agent between the oil cooler assembly pipe and No. 7 water by-pass hose so that the No. 7 water by-pass hose can be disconnected easily.

      Tech Tips

      Use a cloth to prevent lubricant agent from spattering.

    2. Loosen the hose clamp and disconnect the No. 8 water by-pass hose from the oil cooler assembly.

      Note

      Spray lubricant agent between the oil cooler assembly pipe and No. 8 water by-pass hose so that the No. 8 water by-pass hose can be disconnected easily.

      Tech Tips

      Use a cloth to prevent lubricant agent from spattering.

      Remove the 2 nuts, 2 bolts and oil cooler assembly.

    4. A01MU1D

      Remove the 2 oil cooler O-rings from the stiffening crankcase assembly.
