COOLING FAN MOTOR REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

  2. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER

    Click here

  4. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER

  5. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)

    Click here

  6. REMOVE HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR

    Click here

  7. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  8. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  9. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVE TANK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  10. REMOVE RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  11. DISCONNECT NO. 2 RADIATOR HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  12. DISCONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE

    Click here

  13. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

  14. REMOVE FAN SHROUD ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  15. REMOVE COOLING FAN ECU


    1. A00236L

      Disconnect the cooling fan motor connector and No. 2 cooling fan motor connector.

    2. Disconnect the 4 clamps and wire harness.

    3. Remove the 2 screws and cooling fan ECU.

  16. REMOVE FAN


    1. A0021H7

      Remove the nut and fan.

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 FAN


    1. A0021Q6

      Remove the nut and No. 2 fan.

  18. REMOVE COOLING FAN MOTOR


    1. A00213D

      Remove the 3 screws and cooling fan motor.

  19. REMOVE NO. 2 COOLING FAN MOTOR


    1. A0020MN

      Remove the 3 screws and No. 2 cooling fan motor.
