FRAME WIRE REMOVAL

PROCEDURE

  2. REMOVE ENGINE ASSEMBLY WITH TRANSMISSION

  3. REMOVE FUEL TANK ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 6 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

      Remove the 3 nuts and front No. 6 floor heat insulator.

  5. REMOVE FRONT NO. 4 FLOOR HEAT INSULATOR

      Remove the 2 bolts and front No. 4 floor heat insulator.

  6. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH


    1. A00237S

      Disengage the 6 clips and remove the front floor cover LH.

  7. REMOVE FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (for Fixed Seat Type)

  9. REMOVE REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER

  10. REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Fixed Seat Type)

  12. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

  13. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH

  14. REMOVE REAR SEAT SUB FLOOR PANEL (for Fold Down Seat Type)

  15. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOM PARTITION COVER (for Fold Down Seat Type)

  16. REMOVE LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH

  17. REMOVE NO. 4 HYBRID BATTERY SHIELD PANEL

    Click here

  18. REMOVE FRAME WIRE

    CAUTION:

    Wear insulated gloves.


    1. A0020FQ

      Remove the battery terminal connector cover.

    2. A0022ZR

      Remove the nut and disconnect the frame wire from the fusible link block assembly.

    3. A00235Q

      Disengage the 5 clamps.

    4. A00220I

      Remove the earth terminal from the upper hybrid battery cover sub-assembly.

    5. A00237Z

      Disengage the 2 clamps from the upper hybrid battery cover sub-assembly.

    6. Disconnect the 2 frame wire connectors from the hybrid battery terminal block.

      Note

      Insulate the disconnected connectors with insulating tape.

      Remove the nut from the wiring harness protector.

    8. Disengage the clamp and remove the wiring harness protector.

      Disengage the 4 clamps.

    10. A0022H6

      Disengage the 3 claws and push the frame wire out from the floor panel.

    11. for LHD:


      1. Remove the connector cover assembly.

        Click here

      2. A0021AM

        Remove the nut.

      3. Disengage the clamp.

      4. A0020ZJ

        Remove the bolt and disconnect the 2 frame wire connectors from the inverter with converter assembly.

        Note


        • Do not allow any foreign matter or water to enter the inverter with converter assembly.

        • Do not touch the connector waterproofing rubber or terminals.

        • Do not damage the connectors, connector housings or inverter with converter assembly during disconnection.

        • Insulate the removed connectors with insulating tape.

        • Cover the hole where the cable was connected with tape (non-residue type) or equivalent to prevent entry of foreign matter.

      5. Temporarily install the connector cover assembly.

        Disconnect the clamp.

      7. Remove the nut from the frame wire.

      8. Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the frame wire from the engine room relay block and junction block assembly.

        Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the wiring harness protector from the frame wire.

      10. A0020MC

        Remove the 3 bolts.

      11. A0020GWN01

        Disengage the clamp (A).

      12. Remove the 5 nuts.

      13. Disengage the clamp (B).

    12. for RHD:


      1. Remove the connector cover assembly.

        Click here

      2. A0022VE

        Disengage the 2 clamps.

      3. A0022EO

        Disconnect the air conditioning harness connector from the inverter with converter assembly.

        Note


        • Do not allow any foreign matter or water to enter the inverter with converter assembly.

        • Do not touch the connector waterproofing rubber or terminals.

        • Do not damage the connector, connector housing or inverter with converter assembly during disconnection.

        • Insulate the removed connector with insulating tape.

        • Cover the hole where the cable was connected with tape (non-residue type) or equivalent to prevent entry of foreign matter.

      4. A00231O

        Disengage the clamp.

      5. Remove the nut from the frame wire.

      6. Disengage the 2 claws and disconnect the frame wire from the engine room relay block and junction block assembly.

        Disengage the clamp.

      8. Remove the bolt and disconnect the frame wire connector from the inverter with converter assembly.

        Note


        • Do not allow any foreign matter or water to enter the inverter with converter assembly.

        • Do not touch the connector waterproofing rubber or terminals.

        • Do not damage the connector, connector housing or inverter with converter assembly during disconnection.

        • Insulate the removed connector with insulating tape.

        • Cover the hole where the cable was connected with tape (non-residue type) or equivalent to prevent entry of foreign matter.

      9. Temporarily install the connector cover assembly.

        Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the wiring harness protector from the frame wire.

      11. A0022K3

        Remove the 3 bolts.

    13. A0022X9

      Disengage the clamp.

    14. Remove the bolt.

    15. A0022DR

      Remove the 2 clamps and frame wire.

      Note

      The clamps are non-reusable parts.
