WINDSHIELD DEICER SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK

CHECK WINDSHIELD DEICER SYSTEM

1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

2. Check that the windshield glass (windshield deicer wire) becomes warm by operating the outer mirror heater switch assembly.

3. Confirm that windshield deicer system operation stops after approximately 15 minutes.

   Note

   If the auxiliary battery voltage is low, the windshield deicer system may not operate. When "Operation of Electrical Items Restricted." is not displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly, check the Data List item "Battery Control Count (Body ECU)".
