REAR SUNSHADE SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK


  1. CHECK MANUAL OPERATION


    1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    2. When the rear window shade assembly is lowered, push the rear sunshade switch assembly. Check that the rear window shade assembly is raised.

    3. When the rear window shade assembly is raised, push the rear sunshade switch assembly. Check that the rear window shade assembly is lowered.

  2. CHECK KEY-OFF OPERATION


    1. Turn the power switch from on (IG) to off. Check that the rear window shade assembly can be operated for up to 72 seconds.

    2. Turn the power switch from on (IG) to off and wait for 73 seconds. Check that the rear window shade assembly cannot be operated.

  3. CHECK SHIFT-LINKED OPERATION

    The shift-linked operation of the rear sunshade system operates only when the customize setting "R-pos to Rear Sun Shade COM" is set to "ON".

    1. Start the engine.

    2. When the rear window shade assembly is raised, move the shift lever to R. Check that the rear window shade assembly is lowered.

    3. When any of the following conditions is met, check that the rear window shade assembly is raised.


      • The shift lever is moved to P.

      • The shift lever is moved to D and vehicle speed reaches 15 km/h (9.3 mph) or more.

      • The power switch is pushed.
