GENERAL
The rear sunshade system has the following functions: manual operation, shift-linked operation and key-off operation.

| Rear sunshade relay | The rear sunshade relay controls the rotational direction of the motor, which raises or lowers the rear window shade assembly. |

SYSTEM OPERATION
The rear sunshade system has the following features.

| Manual operation | This function causes the rear window shade assembly to raise or lower when the rear sunshade switch assembly is pushed. |
| Shift-linked operation | This function causes the rear window shade assembly to lower when the shift lever is moved to R with the rear window shade assembly raised. When any of the following conditions is met, the rear window shade assembly is raised:

| Key-off operation | This function makes it possible to operate the rear window shade assembly for up to 72 seconds after the power switch is turned on (ACC) or off. |
