PROCEDURE


  1. Click here

    INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE


    1. A00233UC01
      *A for RHD with Rain Sensor *B w/ EC Mirror
      *C for LHD with Rain Sensor - -
      *a Marking *b Cut

      w/o Pre-collision System (When using a new roof headlining):


      1. Using a knife, cut the roof headlining at the markings as shown in the illustration.

        Tip:

        Make sure to cut the roof headlining at the same positions as the removed roof headlining.

      *A for RHD with Rain Sensor *B w/ EC Mirror
      *C for LHD with Rain Sensor - -
      *a Marking *b Cut

      w/ Pre-collision System (When using a new roof headlining):


      1. Using a knife, cut the roof headlining at the markings as shown in the illustration.

        Tip:

        Make sure to cut the roof headlining at the same positions as the removed roof headlining.

      B003YLR Butyl Tape - -

      Apply butyl tape as shown in the illustration.

      Note:

      Securely attach butyl tape.

      *E for LHD with Rain Sensor *F for RHD with Rain Sensor

      *a Clamp (A) *b Clamp (B)

      *e Marking Tape (C) *f Marking Tape (D)
      *g Adjustment Area *h 90°

      Engage the 6 clamps (A).

    5. Turn the 2 visor connectors clockwise approximately 90° to install them to the roof headlining.

    6. Align the marking tape (A) on the No. 1 roof wire with the vehicle front side tab of the roof headlining.

    7. Align the edge of the marking tape (B) on the No. 1 roof wire with the markings on the roof headlining.

    8. Align the edge of the marking tape (C) on the No. 1 roof wire with the markings on the roof headlining.

    9. Attach the No. 1 roof wire with the butyl tape.

      Note:

      • Securely attach the No. 1 roof wire.

      • If any of the No. 1 roof wire is left loose, this will cause abnormal noise.

      • Make sure to attach the No. 1 roof wire without leaving any of it loose.

      Tip:

      Secure the extra length of the No. 1 roof wire in the adjustment area.

    10. w/ Sliding Roof:


      1. Engage the 5 clamps (B).

    11. Align the edge of each marking tape (D) on the No. 1 roof wire with each notch on the roof headlining.

      B003YLR Adhesive Tape - -

      Install the No. 1 roof wire to the roof headlining with adhesive tape.

      Note:

      • Apply the tape securely in place.

      • Do not touch the adhesive surface when applying the tape to prevent adhesion failure.

    INSTALL REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER LH (w/o Sliding Roof)

      Align the rear side rail spacer LH with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

      Tip:

      Install the rear side rail spacer LH with the arrow on the spacer facing the front of the vehicle.

  3. Click here

    INSTALL REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER LH (w/ Sliding Roof)

      *a Marking

      Align the rear side rail spacer LH with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

      Tip:

      Install the rear side rail spacer LH with the arrow on the spacer facing the front of the vehicle.

  4. Click here

    INSTALL REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER RH (w/o Sliding Roof)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. Click here

    INSTALL REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER RH (w/ Sliding Roof)

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

    INSTALL NO. 3 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)

      Align the 2 No. 3 roof silencer pads with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install them using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

    INSTALL NO. 2 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)

      Align the No. 2 roof silencer pad with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

    INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)

      Align the No. 1 roof silencer pad with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install it using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

    INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)

      Align the 2 roof headlining pads with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install them using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

    INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING PAD (w/ Sliding Roof)

      Align the 2 roof headlining pads with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install them using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  11. Click here

    INSTALL VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    Tip:

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.


    1. A0022FHC02
      *1 Bulb Holder

      Engage the claw (B) to temporarily install the vanity light assembly.

    2. Engage the 2 claws (A) to install the bulb holder to the vanity light assembly.
