ROOF HEADLINING REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF WIRE


    1. Apply butyl tape as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Securely attach butyl tape.

    2. Engage the 6 clamps (A).

      *g Adjustment Area - -

    3. Turn the 2 visor connectors clockwise approximately 90° to install them to the roof headlining.

    4. Align the marking tape (A) on the No. 1 roof wire with the vehicle front side tab on the roof headlining.

    5. Align the edge of the marking tape (B) on the No. 1 roof wire with the markings on the roof headlining.

    6. Align the edge of the marking tape (C) on the No. 1 roof wire with the markings on the roof headlining.

    7. Attach the No. 1 roof wire with the butyl tape.

      Note


      • Securely attach the No. 1 roof wire.

      • If any of the No. 1 roof wire is left loose, this will cause abnormal noise.

      • Make sure to attach the No. 1 roof wire without leaving any of it loose.

      Tech Tips

      Secure the extra length of the No. 1 roof wire in the adjustment area.

    8. w/ Sliding Roof:


      1. Engage the 5 clamps (B).

    9. Align the edge of the marking tape (D) on the No. 1 roof wire with the notch on the roof headlining.

    10. Apply adhesive tape between the markings on the roof headlining as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER LH (w/o Sliding Roof)

      Align the rear side rail spacer LH with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install the spacer using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Install the rear side rail spacer LH with the arrow on the spacer facing the front of the vehicle.

  3. INSTALL REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER LH (w/ Sliding Roof)

      Align the rear side rail spacer LH with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install the spacer with hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

      Tech Tips

      Install the rear side rail spacer LH with the arrow on the spacer facing the front of the vehicle.

  4. INSTALL REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER RH (w/o Sliding Roof)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  5. INSTALL REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER RH (w/ Sliding Roof)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  6. INSTALL NO. 3 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)


    1. Align the 2 No. 3 roof silencer pads with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install the pads using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  7. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)

      Align the No. 2 roof silencer pad with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install the pad using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  8. INSTALL NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)

      Align the No. 1 roof silencer pad with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install the pad using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  9. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)

      Align the 2 roof headlining pads with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install the pads using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  10. INSTALL ROOF HEADLINING PAD (w/ Sliding Roof)

      Align the 2 roof headlining pads with the markings on the roof headlining assembly and install the pads using hot-melt glue as shown in the illustration.

  11. INSTALL VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.

      *1 Bulb Holder

      Engage the claw (B) to install the vanity light assembly.

    2. Engage the 2 claws (A) to install the bulb holder to the vanity light assembly.
