ROOF HEADLINING DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE VANITY LIGHT ASSEMBLY

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure for the LH side and RH side.


    1. A0020RAC02
      *1 Bulb Holder

      Disengage the 2 claws (A) and separate the bulb holder from the vanity light as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the claw (B) to remove the vanity light assembly.

  2. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)

      Remove the 2 roof headlining pads.

  3. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING PAD (w/ Sliding Roof)


    1. A0022TO

      Remove the 2 roof headlining pads.

  4. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)


    1. A0020ZY

      Remove the No. 1 roof silencer pad.

  5. REMOVE NO. 2 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)


    1. A00233H

      Remove the No. 2 roof silencer pad.

  6. REMOVE NO. 3 ROOF SILENCER PAD (w/o Sliding Roof)


    1. Remove the 2 No. 3 roof silencer pads.

  7. REMOVE REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER LH (w/o Sliding Roof)


    1. A00229M

      Remove the rear side rail spacer LH.

      Note


      • The rear side rail spacer LH clip is reusable if it is not damaged.

      • If the rear side rail spacer LH is damaged, replace it with a new one.

  8. REMOVE REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER LH (w/ Sliding Roof)

      Remove the rear side rail spacer LH.

      Note


      • The rear side rail spacer LH clip is reusable if it is not damaged.

      • If the rear side rail spacer LH is damaged, replace it with a new one.

  9. REMOVE REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER RH (w/o Sliding Roof)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  10. REMOVE REAR SIDE RAIL SPACER RH (w/ Sliding Roof)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  11. REMOVE NO. 1 ROOF WIRE


    1. Remove the adhesive tape from the roof headlining.

      *G w/ EC Mirror - -
      B003YLR Adhesive Tape - -

    2. Turn the 2 visor connectors counterclockwise approximately 90° and remove them from the roof headlining.

    3. w/o Sliding Roof:


      1. Disengage the 6 clamps and remove the No. 1 roof wire from the roof headlining.

    4. w/ Sliding Roof:


      1. Disengage the 11 clamps and remove the No. 1 roof wire from the roof headlining.
