CONDENSER REMOVAL

PROCEDURE


  1. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (for HFC-134a(R134a))

  2. RECOVER REFRIGERANT FROM REFRIGERATION SYSTEM (for HFO-1234yf(R1234yf))

  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY

  4. REMOVE INLET NO. 1 AIR CLEANER

    Click here

  5. REMOVE HOOD LOCK RELEASE LEVER PROTECTOR

  6. DISCONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  7. REMOVE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  8. DISCONNECT ENGINE ROOM MAIN WIRE

    Click here

  9. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  10. DISCONNECT LIQUID TUBE SUB-ASSEMBLY A


    1. A0020Y6

      Disengage the claw to open the service hole cover.

    2. A0020YD

      Remove the bolt.

    3. A0021EL

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the liquid tube sub-assembly A from the cooler condenser assembly.

    4. Remove the O-ring from the liquid tube sub-assembly A.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  11. DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE


    1. A0020RP

      Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose from the cooler condenser assembly.

    2. Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

      Note

      Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent entry of moisture and foreign matter.

  12. REMOVE COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY


    1. A0021EV

      Remove the 2 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws.

    3. Pull the radiator assembly as shown in the illustration.

    4. A0022NC

      Disengage the 2 guides to remove the cooler condenser assembly as shown in the illustration.
