FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION

  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL FRONT SHOULDER BELT ANCHOR ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY


    1. A0022DJN01

      Engage the guide to temporarily install the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly with the 2 bolts.

    2. Fully tighten the bolt (A) first, then the bolt (B) to install the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster assembly.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY


    1. A0020ELN01

      Temporarily install the front seat outer belt assembly with the 2 bolts.

    2. Fully tighten the bolt (A) first, then the bolt (B).

      Torque:
      Bolt (A)
      7.5 N*m  { 76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf }
      Bolt (B)
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }
    3. A00220HC01
      *a Locking Button
      *b Lock

      Connect the pretensioner connector and lock the locking button as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Securely lock the locking button.

    4. Connect the connector.

    5. Connect the shoulder anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the nut.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

    6. Check that the ELR locks.

      Note

      The check should be performed with the front seat outer belt assembly installed.


      1. With the belt assembly installed, check that the belt locks when it is pulled out quickly.

  4. INSTALL CENTER PILLER GARNISH ASSEMBLY

  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION LOCK HOOK

  8. INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

  9. INSTALL FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE

  10. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

  11. INSTALL BATTERY SERVICE HOLE COVER LH

  12. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat)


    1. A0020RFC01
      *a Protruding Part

      Install the anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat outer belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

  13. CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)


    1. A0020J5C01
      *a Protruding Part

      Install the anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      42 N*m  { 428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf }

      Note

      Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat outer belt assembly to overlap the protruding part of the front seat adjuster.

  14. INSTALL SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP (for Manual Seat)


    1. A0023B1

      Engage the guide and 4 claws to install the seat belt anchor cover cap as shown in the illustration.

  15. INSTALL SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP (for Power Seat)


    1. A002214

      Engage the 2 guides and 4 claws to install the seat belt anchor cover cap as shown in the illustration.

  16. INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
