PROCEDURE


  1. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (DRIVER SEAT)


    1. A011NKPC01
      *A for Power Seat or for Manual Seat with Seat Heater System
      *B for Manual Seat without Seat Heater System
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly (Driver Seat))

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for Power Seat or for Manual Seat with Seat Heater System
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      1 - 2 Driver seat belt unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
      1 - 2 Driver seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω
      for Manual Seat without Seat Heater System
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      14 - 9 Driver seat belt unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
      14 - 9 Driver seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly (driver seat).

  2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (FRONT PASSENGER SEAT)


    1. A011P36C21
      *A for LHD
      *B for RHD
      *a

      Component without harness connected

      (Front Seat Inner Belt Assembly (Front Passenger Seat))

      Check the switch of the seat belt tension reducer system.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        for LHD
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        P2-1 - P2-2 Front passenger seat belt unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
        P2-1 - P2-2 Front passenger seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω
        for RHD
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        Q11-1 - Q11-2 Front passenger seat belt unfastened 10 kΩ or higher
        Q11-1 - Q11-2 Front passenger seat belt fastened Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly (front passenger seat).

    2. Check the switch of the seat belt warning system.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        for LHD
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        P2-3 - P2-2 Front passenger seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher
        P2-3 - P2-2 Front passenger seat belt unfastened Below 1 Ω
        for RHD
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        Q11-3 - Q11-2 Front passenger seat belt fastened 10 kΩ or higher
        Q11-3 - Q11-2 Front passenger seat belt unfastened Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly (front passenger seat).

    3. Check the occupant detection sensor line.


      1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

        Standard Resistance
        for LHD
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        P2-5 - B-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        P2-4 - B-3 Always Below 1 Ω
        for RHD
        Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
        Q11-5 - B-1 Always Below 1 Ω
        Q11-4 - B-3 Always Below 1 Ω

        If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat inner belt assembly (front passenger seat).
