OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD) (for Manual Seat)

   
   

   1. 

      Using hog ring pliers, install the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad) to the separate type front seat cushion cover with 18 new hog rings.

      Note

      
      

      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

   2. 

      Using hog ring pliers, install 2 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

2. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Manual Seat)

6. INSTALL VERTICAL SEAT RELEASE ARM (for Manual Seat)

7. INSTALL VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Manual Seat)

8. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE (for Manual Seat)

9. CONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER (for Manual Seat)

10. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat)

11. INSTALL OCCUPANT DETECTION SENSOR (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD) (for Standard Type Power Seat)

    
    

    1. 

       Using hog ring pliers, install the occupant detection sensor (separate type front seat cushion pad) to the separate type front seat cushion cover with 18 new hog rings.

       Note

       
       

       • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

       • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.

    2. 

       Using hog ring pliers, install 3 new hog rings.

       Note

       
       

       • Be careful not to damage the separate type front seat cushion cover.

       • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type front seat cushion cover.
