PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (for Standard Seat Type)

      *B	for Front Left Seat
      *a	Component without harness connected (Separate Type Front Seat Cushion Cover)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for Front Right Seat Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition a9-2 - B-1 Always Below 1 Ω a9-5 - B-2 Always Below 1 Ω a9-1 - a9-7 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 6.1 to 13.3 kΩ B-5 - a9-3 Always Below 1 Ω B-3 - a9-3 Always 2.56 to 3.14 Ω B-3 - C-1 Always Below 1 Ω C-2 - a9-3 Always Below 1 Ω
      for Front Left Seat Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition b5-2 - D-1 Always Below 1 Ω b5-5 - D-2 Always Below 1 Ω b5-1 - b5-7 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 6.1 to 13.3 kΩ D-5 - b5-3 Always Below 1 Ω D-3 - b5-3 Always 2.56 to 3.14 Ω D-3 - E-1 Always Below 1 Ω E-2 - b5-3 Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seat cushion cover.

2. INSPECT FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER (for Sports Seat Type)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seat cushion pad with cover.
