FRONT SEATBACK HEATER(for Power Seat) INSPECTION

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER (for Standard Seat Type)

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Separate Type Front Seatback Cover)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Always 3.6 to 4.42 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the separate type front seatback cover.

2. INSPECT FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER (for Sports Seat Type)

   
   
   1. 

      *a	Component without harness connected (Front Seatback Pad with Cover)

      Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      for Fabric Seat or Synthetic Leather Seat Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Always 6.36 to 7.78 Ω
      for Leather Seat Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 - 2 Always 5.13 to 6.29 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the front seatback pad with cover.
