FRONT SEATBACK HEATER(for Manual Seat) REMOVAL

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.

  • Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

  2. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER

    Click here

  3. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

    Click here

  4. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE

    Click here

  5. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER

    Click here

  6. REMOVE VERTICAL SEAT RELEASE ARM

    Click here

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

    Click here

  8. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER CUSHION SHIELD

    Click here

  9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT

  10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

      Disconnect the connector.

    2. Disengage the clamp.

    3. A011MMRC01
      *a Bracket

      Remove the 2 nuts and disengage the 3 brackets.

    4. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  11. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER (SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER)

    Tech Tips

    The front seatback heater cannot be removed from the separate type front seatback cover as they are a unit.

      Disengage the 2 fasteners.

    2. A011MMX

      Remove the 14 hog rings to remove the front seatback heater (separate type front seatback cover) from the separate type front seatback pad.
