DESCRIPTION

Output to the front seat cushion heater temperature sensor stops if one of the following occurs: 1) the temperature sensor is open or shorted; or 2) the temperature sensor is damaged and its output value does not change.

    1. Remove the separate type front seat cushion cover (front right seat).

    2. Inspect the separate type front seat cushion cover (front right seat).

  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (FRONT RIGHT SEAT))


    1. Disconnect the K11 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K11-20 (TSR) - a9-1 (THR) Always Below 1 Ω
      K11-20 (TSR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      a9-1 (THR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K11-34 (SG-3) - a9-7 (PR) Always Below 1 Ω
      K11-34 (SG-3) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      a9-7 (PR) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
