SEAT HEATER SYSTEM TERMINALS OF ECU


  1. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY


    1. Disconnect the K10 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      K10-5 (IG+) - Body ground R - Body ground IG power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      K10-5 (IG+) - Body ground R - Body ground IG power supply Power switch off Below 1 V
      K10-1 (GND) - Body ground BR - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the K10 air conditioning amplifier assembly connector.

    4. Measure the voltage and check for pulse generation according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      K10-15 (SHP+) - K10-1 (GND) L - BR Refreshing seat switch volume signal

      • Power switch on (IG)

      • Refreshing seat switch on (LO)

        (heater position)

      		 Below 1 V
      K10-16 (SHD+) - K10-1 (GND) P - BR Refreshing seat switch volume signal

      • Power switch on (IG)

      • Refreshing seat switch on (LO)

        (heater position)

      		 Below 1 V
      K10-20 (LIN1) - Body ground P - Body ground Refreshing seat switch signal Power switch on (IG) Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the air conditioning amplifier assembly may be malfunctioning.

  2. CHECK REFRESHING SEAT SWITCH


    1. Disconnect the K99 refreshing seat switch connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tech Tips

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      K99-1 (IG) - Body ground P - Body ground IG power supply Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      K99-1 (IG) - Body ground P - Body ground IG power supply Power switch off Below 1 V
      K99-4 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

    3. Reconnect the K99 refreshing seat switch connector.

    4. Check for pulse according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      K99-7 (SW) - Body ground P - Body ground Refreshing seat switch signal Power switch on (IG) Pulse generation

      If the result is not as specified, the refreshing seat switch may be malfunctioning.
