    The following items can be customized.

    Note


    • When the customer requests a change in a function, first make sure that the function can be customized.

    • Be sure to make a note of the current settings before customizing.

    • When troubleshooting a function, first make sure that the function is set to the default setting.


    1. Customizing with the GTS


      1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

      2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

      3. Turn the GTS on.

      4. Enter the following menus: Customize Setting / Air Conditioner.

      5. Select the setting by referring to the table below.


        Air Conditioner
        Tester Display Description Default Setting ECU
        Seat Heater Auto Operation Function that turns the seat heater timer on or off.* OFF 0:ON,1:OFF Air conditioning amplifier assembly

        • *: The seat heater timer setting is not linked with ECO mode of the air conditioning system.

    2. Customize seat heater timer cancel function (manual operation)

      Tech Tips

      Perform the following procedure while the vehicle is stopped.


      1. Setting the seat heater timer cancel function


        1. Turn the power switch on (IG).

        2. Press the refreshing seat switches (heater position) on the driver side and passenger side simultaneously for 3 seconds or more.

        3. After the above step has completed, the buzzer in the air conditioning amplifier assembly sounds twice and setting of the seat heater timer cancel function is complete.

      2. Canceling the seat heater timer cancel function


        1. Perform the seat heater timer cancel function setting procedure again.

        2. After the above step has completed, the buzzer in the air conditioning amplifier assembly sounds once and cancellation of the seat heater timer cancel function is complete.
