  • The following procedure is for the LH side.

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (for Driver Side)

  2. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)

    Click here

  3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

    Click here

  4. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP

      Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps.

  5. DISCONNECT SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER (for Standard Seat Type)


    1. w/o Climate Control Seat System:

        Disconnect the rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

    2. w/ Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A011OB9

        Disengage the 2 hooks to disconnect each rubber band of the separate type front seatback cover.

  6. DISCONNECT FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER (for Sports Seat Type)


    1. w/o Climate Control Seat System:


      1. A011OVB

        Disconnect the rubber band of the front seatback pad with cover.

    2. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

        Disengage the 2 hooks to disconnect each rubber band of the front seatback pad with cover.

  7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD

      Remove the screw.

    2. Disengage the claw and clip.

    3. A011NAN

      Disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

    4. A011MSS

      Disengage the 3 guides to remove the front seat inner No. 1 cushion shield.

  8. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the slide and vertical power seat switch knob.

  9. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB

      Using a moulding remover, disengage the 4 claws to remove the reclining power seat switch knob.

  10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

      Disengage the 4 claws, 7 guides and clip to remove the front seat cushion shield.

    2. A011MSG

      Disengage the 2 clamps.

    3. A011PVI

      Disengage the 3 claws and open the wire harness cover.

      w/o Seat Position Memory System:


      1. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat switch.

    5. A011NF9

      w/ Seat Position Memory System:


      1. Disconnect the 2 connectors from the front power seat switch.

    6. for Driver Side:

        Disconnect the connector from the front lumbar power seat switch.

  11. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH (w/o Seat Position Memory System)

      Disengage the 5 claws and 6 guides to remove the front seat inner cushion shield.

  15. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Standard Seat Type)

      Disengage the fastener and separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

        Disengage the 3 clamps.

      4. Disconnect the connector.

      for Front Passenger Side:


      1. Disengage the claw to remove the connector.

      Disengage the 12 hooks and remove the separate type front seat cushion cover with pad.

  16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION PAD WITH COVER (for Sports Seat Type)

      Disengage the fastener and separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.

    2. w/ Seat Heater System:

        Disconnect the connector.

      2. Disengage the clamp.

        Disengage the 3 clamps.

      4. Disconnect the connector.

      for Front Passenger Side:


      1. Disengage the claw to remove the connector.

      Disengage the 12 hooks and remove the front seat cushion pad with cover.

  17. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER (for Standard Seat Type)

      Remove the 3 hog rings.

    2. A011ONX

      Remove the 18 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover from the separate type front seat cushion pad.

  18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT


    1. for Standard Seat Type:

        Pull out the 2 fasteners.

      2. A011MR4

        Remove the 2 hog rings.

    2. for Sports Seat Type:

        Pull out the 2 tabs.

      Open the 2 fasteners.

      Disengage each claw and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.

  19. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for Standard Seat Type)


    1. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

        Disengage the 2 claws to separate the seatback climate control blower from the separate type front seatback pad.

      Remove the 2 nuts and disengage the 3 brackets.

    3. Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad.

  20. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK PAD WITH COVER (for Sports Seat Type)


    1. w/ Climate Control Seat System:

        Disengage the 2 claws to separate the seatback climate control blower from the front seatback pad with cover.

      Remove the 2 nuts and disengage the 2 brackets.

    3. Remove the front seatback pad with cover.

      Remove the 14 hog rings to remove the separate type front seatback cover from the separate type front seatback pad.

      Disconnect the connector.

      Disengage the 4 hooks to remove the seatback climate control blower.

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the seat cushion climate control duct from the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  25. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BRACKET (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Remove the 2 screws and seat cushion climate control bracket from the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  26. REMOVE SEAT CUSHION CLIMATE CONTROL BLOWER ASSEMBLY (w/ Climate Control Seat System)

      Disengage the 2 hooks to remove the seat cushion climate control blower assembly.

  27. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH

      Disengage the 2 guides to remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

    Tech Tips

    Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

  29. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH

      Disengage the clip A.

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the clip B to remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH.

  30. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH

    2. Disengage the hook as shown in the illustration.

    3. Disengage the clip to remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH.

    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat No. 2 wire.

    1. Disconnect each connector and disengage each clamp to remove the front seat wire.

  35. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK SPRING ASSEMBLY

      Remove the 4 bolts.

    2. Disengage the 4 guides to remove the separate type front seatback spring assembly from the front seat cushion spring assembly.

      Disengage each claw to remove the 2 front seatback edge protectors from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

      Disengage the 2 claws.

    2. Disengage the 2 guides to remove the front seatback spring sub-assembly from the front seatback frame sub-assembly.

  39. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK (for Driver Side)


    1. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the lumbar support adjuster assembly.

  40. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HOOK (for Front Passenger Side)


    1. Remove the 2 front seatback hooks from the front seatback spring sub-assembly.

  41. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SPRING

      Disengage the 6 hooks to remove the front seat cushion spring from the front seat adjuster assembly.

  42. REMOVE SEAT BELT HOLE COVER

      Disengage the claw and remove the seat belt hole cover from the front seat adjuster assembly.
