DESCRIPTION
The skid control ECU assembly receives electronically controlled brake system signals from the yaw rate sensor and sends the signals to the driving support ECU assembly and network gateway ECU. If the skid control ECU assembly detects that the yaw rate sensor is malfunctioning, the skid control ECU assembly sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU assembly, and the driving support ECU assembly stores this DTC.

PROCEDURE
CHECK FOR DTCs (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRC / Trouble Codes.
Check for DTCs.

Replace the skid control ECU assembly with a new one.

CHECK FOR DTCs (PRE-CRASH 2)
Clear the DTCs.
Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
Check for DTCs.
When replacing the driving support ECU assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a driving support ECU assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the driving support ECU assembly will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.
