  • Use the same procedure for the driver side of RHD and LHD vehicles.

  • The procedure listed below is for the driver side of an LHD vehicle.

    INSTALL SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR


    1. A011MXE

      Engage the pin to install the seat position airbag sensor to the seat slide position sensor protector as shown in the illustration.

    2. A011N6AC04
      *1 Seat Position Airbag Sensor
      *a Feeler Gauge
      *b 1.3 mm (0.0512 in.)
      *c Seat Rail

      Using a 1.3 mm (0.0512 in.) feeler gauge, temporarily install the seat position airbag sensor with the "TORX" bolt.

      Note:

      • If the seat position airbag sensor has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case or connector, replace the seat position airbag sensor with a new one.

      • When installing the seat position airbag sensor, be careful that the SRS wiring does not interfere with or is not pinched between other parts.

    3. Using a T30 "TORX" socket wrench, tighten the "TORX" bolt.

      8.0 N*m 82 kgf*cm 71 in.*lbf

    4. Make sure that the clearance between the seat position airbag sensor and seat rail is 1.3 mm (0.0512 in.).

    5. Connect the connector.

    6. Check that there is no looseness in the installed parts of the seat position airbag sensor.

    INSTALL NO. 1 SEAT SLIDE POSITION SENSOR PROTECTOR (for Manual Seat)


    1. Engage the guide and hook to install the No. 1 seat slide position sensor protector.

    2. Install the clip.
