DESCRIPTION

The airbag sensor assembly receives signals from the skid control ECU assembly via CAN communication.

These DTCs are stored when a malfunction is detected in the signal sent from the skid control ECU assembly.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK WARNING LIGHT (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)


    1. Turn the power switch is turned on (READY) and check that the ABS warning, brake warning / yellow and slip indicator lights turn off.

  2. CHECK DTC


    1. Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.

    2. Check for DTCs.

      Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Trouble Codes

      DTCs other than B16AA/88 or B16AB/88 are not output. A
      DTC B16AA/88 or B16AB/88 and DTC U0125/99, U0126/99 or U0129/99 are output simultaneously. B

  3. CHECK DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs stored in memory.

      Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs

    2. Turn the power switch off.

    3. Turn the power switch on (IG), and wait for at least 60 seconds.

    4. Check for DTCs.
