SLIDING ROOF HOUSING DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY

      *a Guide
      *b Pin

      Disengage the claw.

    2. Disengage the guide and pin to remove the map light bracket.

    3. A011PUA

      Remove the 2 bolts and sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.

  2. REMOVE SUNSHADE TRIM SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Disengage the guide and remove the sliding roof piece sub-assembly LH.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the RH side.

      Slide and remove the sunshade trim sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE REAR ROOF DRIP CHANNEL


    1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws in the direction indicated by the arrow (1) in the illustration.

      *a Protective Tape - -

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

    2. Slide the rear roof drip channel in the direction indicated by the arrow (2) in the illustration to remove it.

  4. REMOVE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE CABLE SUB-ASSEMBLY

    Note

    Do not disassemble the sliding roof drive cable sub-assembly except when replacing it.

      Hold down the roof wind deflector panel sub-assembly.

    2. Using a screwdriver, slide the sliding roof drive cable sub-assembly as shown in the illustration to remove it.

      Tech Tips

      Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  5. REMOVE ROOF WIND DEFLECTOR PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY


    1. Pull the spring as shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 springs.

    2. Pull the roof wind deflector panel sub-assembly as shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 guides and remove it.
