LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OPENER SYSTEM Luggage Compartment Door Opener does not Operate

DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) continuously receives the luggage door opening cancel switch assembly ON/OFF signal. When the luggage door opening cancel switch assembly signal is off, and the luggage door opening switch assembly is on, the luggage compartment door is open.

  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.

  • The luggage compartment door opener system uses the CAN communication system. First, confirm that there is no malfunction in the CAN communication system. Refer to the How to Proceed with Troubleshooting procedure.

  3. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (TRUNK AND BACK-DOOR OPEN)


    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.

    5. Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

    1. Connect the GTS to the DLC3.

    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).

    3. Turn the GTS on.

    4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Entry&Start / Data List.

    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the GTS.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    1. Disconnect the Q49 luggage compartment door lock assembly connector.

    2. Disconnect the 4D instrument panel junction block assembly connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
