PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET


    1. for Type A:

        Remove the 2 screws.

      2. B0002JN

        Disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

    2. for Type B:


      1. B0002J3

        Remove the 2 screws.

      2. B0002MT

        Disengage the 4 claws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

    3. for Type C:


      1. B0002I8

        Remove the 2 screws.

      2. B0002JV

        Disengage the 6 claws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  2. REMOVE MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Lexus Safety System+)

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    1. Disengage the 14 clamps to remove the headlight cleaner hose.

  8. REMOVE CONNECTOR BRACKET (w/o Intuitive Parking Assist System)

      Disengage the clamp to remove the connector bracket.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ Intuitive Parking Assist System)

    1. Disengage the 11 clamps to remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Remove the clip.

      Disengage the claw and guide to remove the front bumper side bracket LH.

  16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE BRACKET RH

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  17. REMOVE NO. 2 COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. Remove the clip and No. 2 cool air intake duct.

  18. REMOVE NO. 1 COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 cool air intake duct.

  19. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER

      Disengage the claw to remove the front fender liner retainer as shown in the illustration.

  20. REMOVE NO. 2 RADIATOR GRILLE GARNISH (for Type B)

      Remove the 6 clips.

      Disengage the 6 guides to remove the No. 2 radiator grille garnish.

  21. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE GARNISH (for Type B)

  22. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE LH

      1. Disengage the 5 claws to remove the lower radiator grille LH.

      Disengage the 4 claws to remove the No. 2 radiator grille moulding.

  40. REMOVE NO. 3 RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING

      Disengage the 5 claws to remove the No. 3 radiator grille moulding.

  41. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER

      Disengage the 4 guides to remove the front bumper energy absorber.

  42. REMOVE POP-UP HOOD CHAMBER WITH SENSOR ASSEMBLY

  43. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT

      Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.

  44. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH

      Remove the bolt.

    2. Disengage the claw to remove the front bumper side retainer LH.

  45. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH
