PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

  2. REMOVE HEADLIGHT WASHER ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  3. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System)


    1. Disengage the 9 clamps and remove the headlight cleaner hose.

  4. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. Disengage the 16 clamps to remove the No. 4 engine room wire.

  5. REMOVE CONNECTOR COVER (w/o LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)


    1. A01MWHO

      Disengage the clamp to remove the connector cover.

  6. REMOVE AIR INTAKE DUCT LH


    1. A01MVXDC01
      *a 90°

      Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the 2 pin hold clips.

    2. A01MZAM

      Remove the screw.

    3. Remove the clip.

    4. Disengage the 2 claws and guide to remove the air intake duct LH.

  7. REMOVE AIR INTAKE DUCT RH

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

  8. REMOVE NO. 2 COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT


    1. A01MYL2

      Remove the 4 screws and No. 2 cool air intake duct.

  9. REMOVE NO. 1 COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 cool air intake duct.

      Remove the 3 screws.

      Disengage the 2 guides to remove the fog light mounting bracket LH.

  13. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH (w/o Fog Light)

  14. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET LH (w/ Fog Light)

      Remove the 3 screws.

      Disengage the 2 guides to remove the fog light mounting bracket LH.

  15. REMOVE FOG LIGHT MOUNTING BRACKET RH (w/ Fog Light)

  16. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER LH (w/o Fog Light)

      Disengage the 4 claws and guide, to remove the front bumper hole cover LH.

  17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER HOLE COVER RH (w/o Fog Light)

  18. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER LH (w/ Fog Light)

      Disengage the 4 claws and guide, to remove the fog light cover LH.

  19. REMOVE FOG LIGHT COVER RH (w/ Fog Light)

  20. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE CENTER MOULDING LH (w/o LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

      Disengage the 2 claws and remove the radiator grille center moulding LH.

  22. REMOVE NO. 1 ULTRASONIC SENSOR (w/ LEXUS Parking Assist-sensor System)

        Disengage the 4 claws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

        Remove the 2 screws.

      2. A01MURT

        Disengage the 4 claws to remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.

  27. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER

      *a Hook

      Disengage the 2 claws and guide.

    2. Disengage the hook to remove the lower front bumper cover.

      Disengage the 7 claws and 2 guides, and remove the radiator grille assembly from the front bumper cover.

  41. REMOVE INSIDE RADIATOR GRILLE

      Remove the 2 screws.

    2. A01MW8O

      Remove the 13 claws and 3 guides, and remove the inside radiator grille.

  42. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE MOULDING

      Disengage the 4 claws to remove the radiator grille moulding.

  43. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
