REAR LIGHT ASSEMBLY DISASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. REMOVE BACK-UP LIGHT BULB


    1. A01GFSH

      Type A:


      1. Turn the rear light socket and wire with the back-up light bulb as shown in the illustration to disconnect them as a unit.

      2. Remove the back-up light bulb from the rear light socket and wire.

    2. A01GFBI

      Type B:


      1. Turn the rear light socket and wire with the back-up light bulb as shown in the illustration to disconnect them as a unit.

      2. Remove the back-up light bulb from the rear light socket and wire.

  2. REMOVE REAR LIGHT GASKET


    1. A01GFUC

      Type A:


      1. Remove the rear light gasket.

        Note


        • Be sure to remove all traces of the old rear light gasket from the vehicle body.

        • Do not reuse the removed rear light gasket. Be sure to install a new rear light gasket to prevent water ingress.

    2. A01GG1S

      Type B:


      1. Remove the rear light gasket.

        Note


        • Be sure to remove all traces of the old rear light gasket from the vehicle body.

        • Do not reuse the removed rear light gasket. Be sure to install a new rear light gasket to prevent water ingress.

  3. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE


    1. A01GF9H

      Disconnect the connector to remove the rear light socket and wire.

  4. REMOVE REAR LIGHT SOCKET AND WIRE (w/ Rear Fog Light)


    1. for Driver Side:


      1. A01GG7P

        Disconnect the 2 connectors.

      2. Disengage the clamp to remove the rear light socket and wire.

  5. REMOVE REAR LIGHT GASKET


    1. A01GFD2

      Type A:


      1. Remove the 2 rear light gaskets.

        Note


        • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old rear light gasket from the vehicle body.

        • Do not reuse the removed rear light gasket. Be sure to install new rear light gasket to prevent water ingress.

    2. A01GFB7

      Type B:


      1. Remove the 4 rear light gaskets.

        Note


        • Be sure to remove all the traces of the old rear light gasket from the vehicle body.

        • Do not reuse the removed rear light gasket. Be sure to install new rear light gasket to prevent water ingress.
