LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR INSTALLATION

CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

Note

After installing the torsion bar, use your hand to open and close the luggage door. Make sure the luggage door can open and close smoothly.

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR TORSION BAR SUPPORT

      Install a new luggage compartment door torsion bar support as shown in the illustration.

  2. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR RH


    1. Check the identification mark on the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH.

      Identification Mark Color
      Pink

      Connect the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH to the left side of the vehicle body as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

    3. B003WLQ

      Connect the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH to the luggage compartment door torsion bar support as shown in the illustration.

    4. B003UC4N02

      Using SST, install the luggage door hinge torsion bar RH to the luggage door hinge and the right side of the vehicle body as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

  3. INSTALL LUGGAGE DOOR HINGE TORSION BAR LH


    1. Check the identification mark on the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH.

      Connect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH to the right side of the vehicle body as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

      Connect the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH to the luggage compartment door torsion bar support as shown in the illustration.

    4. B003WKIN02

      Using SST, install the luggage door hinge torsion bar LH to the luggage door hinge and the left side of the vehicle body as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

      Engage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.

  4. INSTALL FRONT UPPER LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER


    1. B003UPI

      Install the front upper luggage compartment trim cover as shown in the illustration.

      Note

      Do not damage the front upper luggage compartment trim cover.

      Engage the 3 guides.

    3. Install the front upper luggage compartment trim cover with the 7 clips.

  5. INSTALL NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT LIGHT ASSEMBLY

  6. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER RH

      Engage the clip and guide to install the luggage compartment trim cover RH.

    2. Install the 4 clips <A>.

    3. Install a new clip <B>.

    4. Install the rope hook assembly with the bolt.

    5. Engage the 2 claws to close the cover.

  7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER LH

      Engage the clip and guide to install the luggage compartment trim cover LH.

    2. Install the 4 clips <A>.

    3. Install a new clip <B>.

    4. Install the clips <C>.

    5. Install the rope hook assembly with the bolt.

    6. Engage the 2 claws to close the cover.

  8. INSTALL NO. 2 ROOM PARTITION COVER (for Fold Down Seat Type)

    Use the same procedure as for the No. 2 room partition cover.

  13. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (for Fixed Seat Type)


    1. Install the 4 clips.

    2. Engage the 2 fasteners.

    3. Install the front luggage compartment trim cover with the 3 clips.

  14. INSTALL FRONT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER (for Fold Down Seat Type)


    1. Engage the 2 fasteners.

    2. Install the front luggage compartment trim cover with the 3 clips.

  15. INSTALL REAR LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM COVER


    1. Engage the 6 clips and install the rear luggage compartment trim cover.

    2. Install the 3 clips.

  16. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM BOX RH


    1. Engage the 5 guides and clip to install the deck side trim box RH.

    2. Install the rope hook assembly with the bolt.

    3. Engage the 2 claws to close the cover.

  17. INSTALL DECK SIDE TRIM BOX LH


    1. Engage the 5 guides and clip to install the deck side trim box LH.

    2. Install the rope hook assembly with the bolt.

    3. Engage the 2 claws to close the cover.

  18. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY RH (w/ Spare Tire)


    1. Install the spare wheel cover tray RH.

  19. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY LH (w/ Spare Tire)


    1. Install the spare wheel cover tray LH.

  20. INSTALL SPARE WHEEL COVER TRAY (w/o Spare Tire)


    1. Install the spare wheel cover tray.

  21. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT FLOOR MAT


    1. Install the luggage compartment floor mat.
