LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE

1. INSTALL REAR LICENSE PLATE SUPPORT BRACKET (w/ Bracket)

   

   
   

   1. Engage the 2 claws to install 2 new rear license plate support brackets.

2. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

3. INSTALL LICENSE PLATE LIGHT ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)

   Tech Tips

   Use the same procedure as for the LH side.

4. INSTALL REAR TELEVISION CAMERA ASSEMBLY (w/ Rear View Monitor System)

5. INSTALL LUGGAGE ELECTRICAL KEY SWITCH

   Click here

6. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR OUTSIDE GARNISH SUB-ASSEMBLY

7. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY

8. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR LOCK CYLINDER ASSEMBLY

   
   

   1. 

      Connect the luggage compartment door lock assembly.

   2. 

      Install the luggage compartment door lock cylinder assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:

      5.5 N*m  { 56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf }

9. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT KEY CYLINDER PROTECTOR

   
   

   1. Type A:

      
      

      1. 

         Install the luggage compartment key cylinder protector with the nut.

   2. Type B:

      
      

      1. 

         Install the luggage compartment key cylinder protector with the nut.

10. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR CUSHION

    
    

    1. 

       Engage the 4 claws to install 4 new luggage compartment door cushions.

11. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER RH

    
    

    1. 

       Install the luggage compartment door hinge cover RH with the 3 clips.

12. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR HINGE COVER LH

    
    

    1. 

       Install the luggage compartment door hinge cover LH with the 3 clips.

13. INSTALL LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT DOOR COVER

    
    

    1. 

       Install the luggage compartment door cover with the 14 clips.

14. INSTALL BACK DOOR ASSIST GRIP

    
    

    1. 

       Install the back door assist grip with the 2 screws.

    2. 

       Engage the guide and 2 claws, and close the cover.
