| DTC Code | DTC Name |
|---|---|
| C1A46 | Yaw Rate Sensor |
DESCRIPTION
The brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) receives vehicle stability control system signals from the yaw rate sensor and sends the signals to the driving support ECU assembly and network gateway ECU. If the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) detects that the yaw rate sensor is malfunctioning, the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) sends a malfunction signal to the driving support ECU assembly, and the driving support ECU assembly stores this DTC.
| DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
|---|---|---|---|
| C1A46 | Yaw Rate Sensor | While the vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or more, a yaw rate sensor malfunction signal is received from the brake actuator assembly (skid control ECU) for 1 second or more. |

Tech Tips
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
Check for DTCs.
Note
When replacing the driving support ECU assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a driving support ECU assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the driving support ECU assembly will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.
