Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.
If the front seat airbag assembly was deployed, replace the front seat airbag assembly, separate type front seatback spring assembly, separate type front seatback pad and separate type front seatback cover with the necessary parts in accordance with the extent of the collision damage.

REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE

CAUTION:

When storing the front seat airbag assembly, keep the airbag deployment side facing upward.
1. Seat Clamp
  
  Separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness from the seat clamp.
2. Disengage the claw and 3 clamps.
  
  Tech Tips
  
  Disengage the 3 clamps first.
3. Fastener
  
  Disengage the fastener and separate the front seat airbag assembly wire harness.
4. Disengage the 2 clamps.
5. Remove the 2 nuts and front seat airbag assembly.
  CAUTION:
  - The nuts must not be reused.
  - Make sure that the separate type front seatback spring assembly is not deformed. If it is, replace it with a new one.
