GENERATOR INSTALLATION

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL GENERATOR ASSEMBLY


    1. Install the generator bracket to the generator assembly with the bolt.

      Torque:
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

    2. Install the generator assembly with the 2 bolts.

      Torque:
      43 N*m  { 438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf }
    3. B003WITC01
      B003WAF Stud Bolt
      B003U82 Nut

      Connect the generator bracket with nut and stud bolt.

      Torque:
      for nut
      20 N*m  { 204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }
      for stud bolt
      6.0 N*m  { 61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf }

    4. Engage the clamp and connect the wire harness to the generator bracket.

    5. Install the generator assembly connector.

    6. Connect the wire harness to thr terminal B with the nut.

      Torque:
      9.8 N*m  { 100 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf }

    7. Install the terminal cap.

    8. Engage the 2 wire harness clamps.

  2. INSTALL COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY

  3. INSTALL NO. 2 IDLER PULLEY SUB-ASSEMBLY

  4. INSTALL V-RIBBED BELT

    Click here

  5. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER

    Click here

  6. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

    Note

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.
