DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored if the radio receiver assembly receives a signal via CAN communication from the spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly that indicates a power supply problem.

  • When "System initializing" is displayed on the multi-display after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, correct the steering angle neutral point.

  • Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SPIRAL CABLE WITH SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY POWER SOURCE)


    1. Disconnect the K30*1 or K29*2 spiral cable with sensor sub-assembly connector.


      • *1: w/ Variable Gear Ratio Steering System

      • *2: w/o Variable Gear Ratio Steering System

    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K30-4 (IG1) - K30-1 (ESS)*1 Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V*3
      K29-4 (IG1) - K29-1 (ESS)*2 Engine switch on (IG)
