DESCRIPTION

If an open or short circuit in the roof antenna assembly is detected continuously for 1 minute as a result of a terminal check performed by the telematics transceiver every minute after the engine switch is turned on (ACC), these DTCs will be stored.

  1. CHECK DTC OUTPUT


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs
    2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

  2. INSPECT ROOF ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

      Remove the roof antenna assembly.

    2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

  3. INSPECT NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY

      Disconnect the A roof antenna assembly connector from the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. Disconnect the B No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly connector from the No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Disconnect the B No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly connector from the No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly.

    2. Disconnect the K128 No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly connector from the instrument panel wire.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      B-3 - K128-3 Always Below 1 Ω
      B-3 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

  5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NO. 2 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY - TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)


    1. Disconnect the K128 No. 2 antenna cord sub-assembly connector from the instrument panel wire.

    2. Disconnect the K127 telematics transceiver connector.

    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance
      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      K128-3 - K127-1 (ANT1) Always Below 1 Ω
      K128-3 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      K127-1 (ANT1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
