DESCRIPTION

If the VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU) detects an internal malfunction, it turns the master warning light on, and stores DTC C15B4/71.

Note


  • When replacing the VGRS ECU (front steering control ECU), perform actuator angle neutral point calibration and initialization after replacement.

  • When DTC C15B4/71 is output, confirm the following:

    (a)Whether there was any trouble starting the engine during the trip before DTC C15B4/71 was stored.

    (b)Whether the master warning light illuminated while the vehicle was being driven or immediately after the engine was started.
