REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for Fold Down Seat Type) REASSEMBLY

PROCEDURE


  1. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT BELT CAP LH


    1. A01231A

      Engage the guide to install the child restraint seat belt cap LH.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other 3 child restraint seat belt caps LH.

  2. INSTALL BENCH TYPE REAR SEAT CUSHION COVER


    1. Temporarily install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the bench type rear seat cushion pad.

    2. Using hog ring pliers, install 32 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

    3. Using hog ring pliers, install the bench type rear seat cushion cover to the bench type rear seat cushion pad with 56 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the bench type rear seat cushion cover.

  3. INSTALL CHILD RESTRAINT SEAT BELT CAP RH

      Engage the 4 claws to install the child restraint seat belt cap RH.

      Tech Tips

      Use the same procedure for the other 3 child restraint seat belt caps RH.

  4. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

      B003WAF Screw
      B003U82 Bolt

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seatback lock sub-assembly RH to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly RH with the 2 bolts and 2 screws.

      Torque:
      21 N*m  { 214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf }

  5. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)


    1. A0123AI

      Engage the 4 guides.

    2. Install the rear seat lock control lever sub-assembly RH with the screw.

    3. A0123UM

      Engage the lock clip as shown in the illustration.

  6. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER PROTECTOR (for RH Side)


    1. A0126AN

      Engage the guide to install the rear seatback lock striker protector with the 3 screws.

  7. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER RH (for RH Side)


    1. Temporarily install the separate type rear seatback cover RH to the separate type rear seatback pad RH.

    2. A0124CX

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover RH to the separate type rear seatback pad RH with 8 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover RH.


      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover RH.

  8. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for RH Side)

      Install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

    2. A01256M

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

  9. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH (for RH Side)

      Engage the 7 claws to install the rear seatback board sub-assembly RH.

    2. A0126VG

      Engage the 23 claws of the separate type rear seatback cover RH to the rear seatback board sub-assembly RH.

  10. INSTALL REAR UPPER SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL (for RH Side)


    1. A0123A6

      Engage the 5 claws to install the rear upper seatback lock bezel.

  11. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK COVER RH (for RH Side)

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Engage the 2 claws to install the rear seatback lock cover RH.

  12. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK CONTROL BEZEL (for RH Side)

      Engage the 2 claws to install the rear seatback lock control bezel.

  13. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE COVER RH (for RH Side)

      Engage the 2 guides to install the rear seat hinge cover RH to the rear seat hinge sub-assembly RH.

    2. A0123LG

      Tighten the bolt to install the rear seat hinge cover RH with the rear seat hinge sub-assembly RH to the separate type rear seatback cover with pad.

      Torque:
      18 N*m  { 184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf }

  14. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BRACKET (for LH Side)


    1. A0125KM

      Install the rear seatback bracket to the rear seatback frame sub-assembly LH with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      28 N*m  { 286 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

  15. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  16. INSTALL REAR SEAT LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)

  17. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER PROTECTOR (for LH Side)

    1. Temporarily install the separate type rear seatback cover LH to the separate type rear seatback pad LH.

      Using hog ring pliers, install 8 new hog rings.

      Note


      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover LH.


      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover LH.

      Using hog ring pliers, install the separate type rear seatback cover LH to the separate type rear seatback pad LH with 8 new hog rings.

      • Be careful not to damage the separate type rear seatback cover LH.


      • Be sure to securely install the hog rings as shown in the illustration while preventing wrinkles from forming on the separate type rear seatback cover LH.

  20. INSTALL SEPARATE TYPE REAR SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for LH Side)

      *a Rubber Band

      Pass the rear center seat lap type belt assembly through the separate type rear seatback cover with pad.

    2. Install the separate type rear seatback cover with pad as indicated by the arrows, in the order shown in the illustration.

    3. Connect the rear center seat lap type belt assembly to the rubber band of the separate type rear seatback cover with pad.

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

    5. A0123FO

      Engage the 4 claws to install the 2 rear seat headrest supports.

  21. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST CUP HOLDER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. A01262K

      Install the rear seat center armrest cup holder sub-assembly with the 2 screws.

      Engage the 2 hooks as shown in the illustration.

  22. INSTALL CENTER ARMREST HINGE COVER (for LH Side)

      Engage the 6 guides to install the center armrest hinge cover to the center armrest hinge.

    2. A0125L9

      Engage the 2 guides.

    3. Install the 2 bushes and 2 bolts to the center armrest hinge cover with center armrest hinge.

      Torque:
      4.6 N*m  { 47 kgf*cm, 41 in.*lbf }

  23. INSTALL CENTER ARMREST HINGE COVER LH (for LH Side)

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Engage the 2 claws to install the center armrest hinge cover LH.

  24. INSTALL REAR SEAT CENTER ARMREST ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)

      Engage the 2 guides.

    2. Install the rear seat center armrest assembly with the 2 nuts.

      Torque:
      28 N*m  { 286 kgf*cm, 21 ft.*lbf }

  25. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (for LH Side)


    1. A01238J

      Engage the 10 claws to install the rear seatback board sub-assembly LH.

    2. A01231Z

      Engage the 27 claws of the separate type rear seatback cover LH to the rear seatback board sub-assembly LH.

  26. INSTALL REAR UPPER SEATBACK LOCK BEZEL (for LH Side)

    Tech Tips

    Use the same procedure as for the RH side.

  27. INSTALL REAR SEATBACK LOCK COVER LH (for LH Side)

  29. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT COVER (for LH Side)

      Connect the rear seat shoulder belt cover to the rear center seat lap type belt assembly as shown in the illustration.

    2. A0126LX

      Engage the 2 guides and 2 claws to install the rear seat shoulder belt cover.

  30. INSTALL SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP (for LH Side)

      Engage the 2 claws to install the seat belt anchor cover cap.

  31. INSTALL REAR SEAT HINGE COVER LH (for LH Side)

  32. INSTALL REAR SEAT SHOULDER BELT GUIDE RH

      Engage the guide.

    2. Install the rear seat shoulder belt guide RH to the rear side seatback pad with frame RH with the 2 screws.
