C1240 Yaw Rate Sensor Discrimination The yaw rate sensor identification information stored in the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) is not consistent with the yaw rate sensor identification information sent via CAN communication continuously for 1 second or more.
  • Yaw rate sensor (yaw rate and acceleration sensor)

  • Skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly)

Note

When replacing the brake actuator assembly or yaw rate and acceleration sensor, perform zero point calibration and store system information.

PROCEDURE


  1. CHECK PART NUMBER (YAW RATE AND ACCELERATION SENSOR)


    1. Check that the part number of the installed yaw rate and acceleration sensor is correct.

      OK
      Yaw rate and acceleration sensor installed in the vehicle has the correct part number.
      Result
      Proceed to

      NG

    NG
    OK
  2. RECONFIRM DTC


    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Click here


      Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRC > Clear DTCs
    2. Turn the engine switch off.

    3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).

    4. Check if the same DTC is output.
